How to find missing phone through Google Search ?

Here’s a helpful tip for Android
smartphone users who can’t quite
keep track of their devices on the
day-to-day:

you can always search
for your missing Android device on
Google through Android Device Manager

All you have to do is type
Find my phone
into Google Search, and
you’ll be sent into the Android
Device Manager on your browser.

The search engine will then locate
your phone on a Google map. It
even tells you the make and model
of your device.

In my case, it found
my tablet and recognized it as a Dell
Venue 7 3730. It even found my
exact address. The Device Manager
guarantees the search is accurate up
to 24 meters.

From the Device Manager, you have
the option to ring your device. You
know, for all those annoying times
you’ve left your phone in the
laundry basket or in the bathroom or
its fallen under your bed. Whatever
the case, this handy Google app will
help you find the device by ringing your phone

What if your device has been stolen?

Sure, you can locate it on the map,
but if it’s on the other side of the
country, it won’t help you much.
That’s why you also have the option
to lock your phone and/or erase
everything on the device. That’ll
show ‘em.
